Are you my old girlfriends dad???? I grew up in Bellevue and dated a Delta daughter. She lived on one of the keys in Newport shores. (actually I know its not you.....her dad retired)

I bought cameras for my house that are linked to the internet. It's fun to see what's happening while I'm on the road. You can use your phone to spy on cats, squirrels, birds, and spiders as they go pass the camera. Sorry about the theft, that sucks.

The DPA is heavily engaged in the process. The process of decertifying ALPA. It's the only process that will actually work.

Doing the same things (like keeping ALPA) will guarantee it.

Far more likely is another lackluster PWA due to ALPA/DALPA/Management not wanting anything close to an industry leading contract.

True. But why aren't we constantly stating that we didn't say "a contract is a contract" when the company needed our help to SAVE THE AIRLINE!

If I were MEC chair, there would not be a single public document signed by me without this below my signature..."representing the pilots of Delta Air Lines - the pilots who didn't say "a contract is a contract" when our company needed help."

I guess we should stop carrying all the cargo we do. Bummer. Want me to tell our cargo people that there's no money in it, or do you want to relay the message?

Great post BG. We have a problem that I don't think you had at FDX. We have union reps and insiders that don't want us to lead the industry. They are desperately trying everything they can to set up the scenario of us accepting a new PWA that continues to be among the worst. They're doing it through claims of different business models, different industries, and different long term profit outlooks. Why they are doing it is puzzling, but they ARE doing it.

So you would think that reciprocal pattern bargaining would be a success, but you have to have a union that wants to try.

It had to take them awhile to get in judging by the damage to the door. Then it seems like they made a beeline for my wifes stuff and bypassed much more lucrative booty! Some of her dresser drawers were open along with a drawer on her nightstand and makeup table. The only things we can find missing I have mentioned before. Heck, this netbook I'm typing from was sitting on the kitchen counter!!!

It seems to me this breakin was VERY unorganized which leads me to believe it was a couple of kids. I'm just shocked at the stuff they didn't take that was laying around. They are going to be very disappointed with the value if they try to fence anything!!

One of these days I'll get over to NRT when you are there!

Denny
Denny, Sorry to hear about your breakin...by the way...I was driving by your place...you live over there by the cul de sac, around the bend by the stop sign...right? Anyway, I saw a car parked out front the other night, I didn't think much about it since there is always a pool cleaning MX truck there everynight your gone, but I digress, sorry, there was a car parked in the driveway with plates that said "ALPA 1". Just what I saw.

All joking aside, that sucks. I agree with buy a big dog and more firearms. May I suggest an AR-15, any brand will do for close-in home defense. Cheers.

That's the issue. The apologists just refuse to face this because of the reality it brings. It's the price you pay when you flout and abuse the very processes you now ask the members to help fix.
