I think it's one particular ATL based 88 A giving the resume PA and if I'm not mistaken doing it from the L1 door handset.

Now if ever asked my resume I will tell said Captain "I was a new commercial pilot unwilling to get a CFI, unwilling to get a regional job and suffering from a porn addiction when I got an idea. I created my own job called Buck In The Air where I flew happy couples to 6,000 feet in a Cessna 337 equipped with a bed. By lying about my resume I was able to go straight from that to Delta. Why do you ask?"

The contract is kind of a big deal though. Trumps hiring and new planes.

Yup, don't know if DAL guys saw the table in the CAL/UAL Merger section but included DAL with inflation on C2K.

This actually existed for a short while. Buck being a play on the guy's last name Buckingham. It also happens to rhyme with, er, well you get the idea. I stayed in his crashpad for a few years in SDF. Helluva nice guy and obviously an enterprising individual.

I think it was an Aztec though. He had mousepads, koozies (sp?), t-shirts and other gear for sale, all with "Buck in the Air" printed on them. I think he only had one or two couples actually purchase the "mile high" package, but it was definitely one of the more creative ways I've heard of to build multi time.

Sidenote: we nearly ran into legal trouble in LAS partly because of Buck on a bachelor party, but that's a story for another time. . . .

People have been using this "Section 6 is about to begin" argument for over a year now. It's about 8 months away and was 20 months away when the DPA thread started. What constitutes "right around the corner"? When will there be a right time for you? After this next contract is signed, will you still view Section 6 as right around the corner?

Sadly, I don't think the DPA will quite have enough cards by this Section 6. If my prediction of an extremely weak opener from DALPA is correct, DPA will be a shoe-in but it will be too late to change a terribly weak outcome.

How come the DPA 3000 strong haven't run up a recall resolution at every single base and installed their own people in every LEC in order to force change?

Surely if you are "involved" enough to send in a card then you are willing to take an extra day out of your life to actually show up at a LEC meeting to make sure your platform will be implemented.

LEC meeting turnout is traditionally very weak, and if there are as many "fencers" out there as are claimed, I'm sure that you could eject the current leadership and give the pilots of delta the leadership of "DPA proponents"......

Start walking the walk of your ideals of "bettering the lives of Delta Pilots", or just stop talking already.

Pardon the interruption however I think this is faster than me searching the contract.

Finishing a trip today and I go into golden days tomorrow. We have mx and now they have us dhding tomorrow which is also my 7th day. If I deviate from my dhd today do I still get paid as though I'm working tomorrow or is my PB day that they're giving me stay on my schedule?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
