I do however believe that the combined company is a considerably stronger enterprise than the two were individually. While there is some short term pain, there should be significant gain for all of us; hopefully sooner rather than later...
As far as Boeing goes, there is a lawsuit/inquiry going on with the NLRB (or one of the Boards) about moving a 787 line to South Carolina. I heard that if the move was done to punish the union for not being willing to sign a "no strike" contract this last time, it is illegal. Looks like Boeing is facing an up hill battle.

How's this for being the bug instead of the windshield. I just missed out on a 4 day greenslip because the coverage was pulled at 1147 instead of 1201 (after the swap with the pot). Two out of base greenslips went out that I am legal for after the swap with the pot at noon but illegal for before swap with the pot. One was assigned at 1228.

I dropped from 75% to 88% in category. But that's because they took 50 crews out of my category. I tried to VD to the 7er, but it didn't work. It would have if I wanted to go to NYC. Guess I should have VD'd to the DC9.
It's all good though. Hopefully more retirements as a result of the AE, & more hiring in 2012.

for now..do it manually. Go through the the AE award and count how many came in vs. how many left senior to you. It sucks, but if you must know.....
