Alfa, I agree with you.

I do however believe that the combined company is a considerably stronger enterprise than the two were individually. While there is some short term pain, there should be significant gain for all of us; hopefully sooner rather than later...

As far as Boeing goes, there is a lawsuit/inquiry going on with the NLRB (or one of the Boards) about moving a 787 line to South Carolina. I heard that if the move was done to punish the union for not being willing to sign a "no strike" contract this last time, it is illegal. Looks like Boeing is facing an up hill battle.

Here is one of the later articles on the topic:

How's this for being the bug instead of the windshield. I just missed out on a 4 day greenslip because the coverage was pulled at 1147 instead of 1201 (after the swap with the pot). Two out of base greenslips went out that I am legal for after the swap with the pot at noon but illegal for before swap with the pot. One was assigned at 1228.

%$#$%^*!!

It's all good though. Hopefully more retirements as a result of the AE, & more hiring in 2012.
Where can you find what your new relative position is?

There is a fellow that post a spreadsheet on the dalpa board that does exactly that. It is already up for this AE.
