Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Just to lighten up the mood... DAL-N 757-300 has now been painted. This paint job is really funny, it makes some planes look longer, some shorter. The DC-9 looks longer, the 737-7 looks so short even compared to SWA/Airtran 737-700s, and now the 757-300 looks to me to have shrunk. It looked so much longer in its silver paint job.

I think this paint job makes the planes look stubbier. Look at our 700s and look at the AirTran 700s... ours look..stumpy?
They don't call it the SLUF for no reason!

Well, it may LOOK stubby to you, but at midnight in MCO, when you're ready to get to the hotel and more passengers have to deplane than a 767ER even holds, they're coming from the back up that single aisle for a LOOONG time.

Hey fellas. Does anyone know if Hawaiian parks next to NWA (DAL-N) at the S-terminal in SEA? How about Delta (DAL-S)? Thanks in advance.

Trying to ignore Pig Flu news
I'm sure the 753 is bad. Imagine the 739 at CAL and having to empty out 173 passengers out the one and only 1L door every time, no option for 2L.

DAL currently parks at the end of "A" gates, directly across from the South gates that NWA uses. I'm pretty sure that I've been told that they will be moving to the South gates in June. Hawaiian parks farther to the north.

I flew the classic 737 for 6 years, and never heard it called SLUF... FLUF... but not SLUF But that works too...
