Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

The interview invitation letter will spell it all out. For you gold wing types you will need all your checkride forms, fitness reports, and and the flying hour summary.

Regarding the opening of 737 bases in CVG and LAX: I think these 2 new 73 bases will make a lot of people very happy (at least the West-coasters). I won't be bidding either one of those new bases but I think there will be a lot of movement because of this.

I think significant movement in the SLC base will be seen. An ER category and a 73N category in LAX is good news to those who are from the coast and commute to SLC. I see lots of SLC guys going to LAX because of this. Throw the 777 NYC base and the 73N CVG base in there and this bid will really stir the pot.

No new bases just new categories in some bases. LAX and CVG got a 73N category. LAX got a 767ER category but lost the 765 category. NYC got a 777 category. SLC is going junior now. Some newhires got 73N last month and if you want the 90 there you can get it when a bid comes out. July 16 hires were able to get the 75/6 there on the last bid. I'll betcha there will be newhires going to all categories in SLC next spring and possibly newhires into LAX. How long until newhires are put on the 777 in NYC?

I took both. I have a DD214 from my active duty days and my current AGR order. If you are on active duty i guess you bring your current aeronautical order or maybe your last PCS orders.

MPF will not give you the 214 until no kidding the day you separate or retire...i.e. your actual date of separation. You either have to go back in to get it, or they will put it in the mail on your sep date. I think the "military orders" referred to would mean your separation or retirement orders which you do get beforehand.

I actually got a copy of my DD 214 from vMPF about a month or so before I got out. It wasn't signed but Delta didn't even balk at it.
