Just amazing and just so sad.
Yep, the Western post-history is a sad one. What a waste of an opportunity.

There's plenty of classroom space that currently sits empty. That won't be the problem. I think the owners/managers of the current training hotel in ATL just got a lot happier.

You mean into Natco? No talk of shrinking MSP or DTW ops. I was told MSP will be a major MD90 base, with some 320, 330 maybe, and 7ERs. DTW will probably look about the same, with an addition of 737s or MD88s to cover the DC9 departures. The void in MSP will be Natco, and that was probably always known.

Thanks for the gouge Bill. BB's a pretty straight shooter.

Any gouge?
I suspect you will be discussing the next AE by weeks end.

The required number is the PBS min staffing number. We cannot operate there, so fret not. They tried this shortly after CH11 and it did not work. There are also a few other reasons why they will not try it again as well. DALPA is to thank on those. (Like winning a staffing grievance)

Correct-a-mundo.

There is no need for ppl to throw the "F" word around.

I don't think that history will repeat itself. The Asia market will ensure the former NWA western routes structure will remain. I wasn't here but Delta's Asia penetration was not that great after the Western acquisition, am I correct?

Eliminating duplicate facilities is one of those 2Billion bucks in synergies. Now that we are fully integrated they can realize those savings. One question though, where are the Whale sims and are they moving?

Do not forget the L15 sims too. Also the 733 sim that has been idle for quite some time as well.

This is a financial move nothing more.
