The caveat is you can't pick up any open time. You are waiving your right to do any flying for that month. Otherwise, see the world. As a result, it typically goes very senior. At least with the ATL757/767 domestic. I think the junior guys who got them last winter were '97 hires. Most were FOs hired in the '91-'92 time frame.

Now that's a good deal IMO. I could 1-2 months off & still be making way more then most of my 1st year at NWA! I would think they would go senior, but I will most likely try for that if offered on the Delta North side.

on that note, my wife and i went to the Houston rodeo and Alan jackson concert last month and she MADE me take a picture of this ungodly gorgeous girl that was running around in a sun dress and boots, drool . She made me because she wanted me to send it to my brother and show him what he was missing by not going to the rodeo this year! lmao

I like the Rodeo. Now the Ft Worth one happens in winter, but the ones in the outlying counties happen and summer, and they do have some awesome scenery.

As my wife say, "Look but never think about ordering from that menu."

I would venture to guess that the PERPS if offered will be good enough to take, but not enough to make everyone jealous. I am sure as the day is long they know exactly how much needs to be offered to make this a good enough deal to take. Now they may bs their way though it with a low ball offer. If that happens my opinion is they want the bodies for next summer.

the Houston livestock show and rodeo is a month long, concert after concert. Its a blast, the BBQ and eye candy is fantastic. Gotta love good ole Texas girls

Like you said, just because you're on a diet, doesnt mean you cant peak at the dessert menu!

Whoever was in charge of giving some of the 4200 hours taken away from us up in JFK last month back, thank you ! A lot of us got of a useless reserve and I got a line again this month that I am very grateful for. Lets hope it last through October..... (holding my fingers crossed...)

We did a few years ago...can't remember when But it was offered by category; I believe 5o hours sit at home, and if they called you and you accepted a trip you got reserve gauarantee for the whole month 75 hours

Will we still have surplus pilots after BP5 when our trip/duty rigs come in line with the current PWA? I suspect we will have a shortage on the NW side and since it will be after SOC, both sides

I look forward to flying with you guys and am so thankful that I don't work for US Airways. It's a mess over there.

Thanks for the response, and I promise you that there will be no B---chin' from me, regardless of where I end up. I've always enjoyed all my flying. Look forward to moving forward with the new Delta pilots. Just flew to MCO for the first time in months. It's cool to see former NWA aircraft at the 70's gates. Hope I get to run into some of you guys tomorrow. We're at the right place at the right time.!
