Frankly I don't care how he personally feels about Delta because there is nothing I can do or say that will change his.. or your for that matter.. mind. I just think it's sad that his life revolves around an entity that he despises. (Here comes the "my life doesn't revolve around Delta" comment... but you know what I mean) Everybody on the seniority is a proven intelligent human being, and if this place is so distasteful, you have the resources between your ears to go somewhere else and find a job that you might find more enjoyable.

... or you can go on an anonymous web board and ***** about it...

Check your blood pressure regularly.
Surprisingly, almost all the framers were native born in the Colonies and as for leaving because it sucked, the wealthiest of nobility came because it was a reward from the crown to go get rich in the colonies. Charleston S.C., in 1776 had one in six as millionaires, in that time. They were "Tea Partiers" because the Crown was muscling in on their deal.
I don't think Delta sucks, I think the the "muscling in on our Deal" that is so complete and total does.

I didn't realize Skywest started doing Alaska/more Delta flying. Interesting...

They took that ex-Horizon CRJ, painted it Alaska colors and gave it to Skywest. Same airplanes, flying the same routes, now flown by different pilots.

- this sucks for the Horizon pilots, the Alaska pilots, and the Delta pilots. Basically, it sucks for everyone but the Skywest pilots.

Skywest is putting crewbases in PDX and SEA starting July this year, me thinks AK and DAL mgt are going to use them against the Horizon group and then either against AK or DAL pilot groups or both.

The Vegas layover hotel is very nice but next to no discount for personal use. They will want at least $100 a night which is very expensive for a Vegas hotel. Check out Terribles near the Hard Rock. Great rooms and only $30 per night for crew rate plus free wi-fi and free airport shuttle.

Delta 1067;

Do not forget that Terrible's also has an awesome breakfast. It is one of the haunts that the locals frequent.

Sahara has cheap rooms. Last time I checked they were 19 a night!
