No kidding. If I'm gonna ride in any plane in the fleet without IFE, I want to ride on fifi.

Um let's put it this way, I could not get comfortable in the sucker. The seats were very close together. Literally I could not get to my seat without using putting one leg on the seat pans themselves.

It does have a wider cross section, but the 88 has more leg room. The seats themselves are better made though. Overall a better design, but man that back end wags more than a 757/767. Ugh.

Mrs. Ferd. I'm just playing around.
Rats, so the candy trick is common knowledge?

Old Memphis trick for new FAs, have the Capt complain he didn't want decaf. When she says it's real coffee, have him hold the mic over his cup while the FO hits the TCAS test. Then convince her that it said "decaf test pass".

The senior mommas just roll their eyes, but I think they thought it was funny too!

Ferd <----- way too much time to kill after preflights

Ok scheduling guru's -

I was rerouted into an x day, my new release time was 2100 on said x day. The way I read the contract I don't start my next x day until 9 hours after my release, so that would be 0600 the following morning. Therefore, I should have one full PB day and then a partial PB, so that my next reserve day will begin ot 0600 on the partial PB day. Correct? (I hope that makes sense)

Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but I got an email a couple days ago saying that AA will be requiring OAL jumpseat requests to be made online. I didn't read it real well but I think it said these booking requests can be made on Interline Travel, Interline Discount, Nonrev Travel - ID90.COM or within our own DeltaNet. I looked at the id90 site but couldn't find anything. Haven't looked on DeltaNet yet.

Not true - Richard said up to 20 mainline planes would be parked. A reporter asked if they would be widebodies, and Richard said the mix had not been decided.

I just listed for an AA jumpseat with the new procedures. Get the ALPA bulletin; click on the link at the bottom (and bookmark it), then follow the instructions. Pretty easy--
