Another false statement. Give the MEC Treasurer a call if you doubt me.

* A320 base in NYC -- flying taken from MSP

No. I do not know how it could be just an A330-200 base in ATL and I didn't ask.

Of course, everything is from second and third hand sources, but what isn't?

The implication for an atl a330-200 base would be very long block times
such as africa and deep sa routes. Don't think you can open up a base that just flies- 200s
as all pilots fly both models. Methinks the flying for the 330 out of atl is starting to look unattractive except for 2 or 3 destinations.

That hasn't been my experience. Maybe it's different for MEC/LEC reps, but I was given an expense form after the conferences I attended. These forms required me to list meal amounts to get reimbursement. Since nearly all of the food was provided, there was nothing to claim.

This is mostly TIC, but you're kidding, right? Atlanta 330 will only get 2 or 3 good destinations? Are you forgetting what airline you work for? Do you honestly think the "home 'drome" is not going to get a crack at every cherry destination the 330 already serves? (not to mention the ones that will be taken from the ATL7ER.)

If the 330 moves into ATL, it will be interesting to watch the feeding frenzy of guys trying to get on it, and the unintended consequences of the ensuing backfill and displacements. Wonder how many of those "I'll never fly an Airbus" guys will change their minds?

Could be tough for the guys in SEA that were surprised they got the SEA 7ER award. Hopefully not for Denny Crane, of course.

Isnt he relaying his actual experience?

How about the MEC treasurer publish the FPL data and all of the rest of the information...as required by resolution.

I am making out with ALPA right now. Are you jealous PG?

Thank's 'dude!! IF the Atl 330 base is established and IF the time comes out of SEA then it depends on how much time is removed and whether any guys follow the plane. I feel fairly safe right now. Too many questions to worry about it now.

The question is how is the staffing in SEA and say DTW on the 330? If staffing is low couldn't they move flying to ATL with a minimal draw down if any in those bases?

Denny,

Don't worry. Next week the rumor will be that SEA is doubling in size and that the 787 will be there next fall.

I'm starting to catch on.
