ATL will get way senior, no doubt about that. That is what we are seeing.

I am just curious how many of your guys are going to be willing to commute to JFK for the 765 or 330.
I think DTW has a lot of commuters who commute from BOS and the NYC area who would do it. If they EVER open up BOS again, it's over, because we used to have a DC-10 base there and we still have alot of pilots who are in the area.

But sticking with the bases we have now, they will go to JFK for the 765 or 330, becuase most of them are on the widebody and love the lifestyle.

I think once the BOS/DCA area commuters figure out how easy JFK is to get to (via the shuttle) and what the flying is like, that's where they'll commute to. I mean, there are flights to LGA every half hour with plenty of open seats!

As a junior DAL South guy, my question is what reductions are coming for the DC-9 in DAL North's bases. Because when those pilots can bid anything they can hold after being displaced, I can kiss ATL, LAX, and SLC goodbye for a long time. The assimilation will be nearly complete- I'll have my nice new NWA uniform complete with red widget, flying my new "best practices" NWA procedures in my NWA airplane out of my new NWA base (detoilet), for an airline run by former NWA executives! I can't wait, my fourth airline in 5 years!

It was never going to be that bad.

This has been known as fact for at least six to eight moths by flt ops. They planned for it.

Perps are good, and I am sure they will make it good enough to take, but not good enough that they will be excited about it.

They want to move a lot of those to ATL. You might get to fly it here.

As for the Shuttle, as DAL pass bennies stand now it is S3C since it is going to be flown by DCI. That is right you go behind those guys commuting to NYC.

On DCI. Be careful about that. People are starting to get burned.

As for the ATL-LGA run. It is almost always full. Going to be fun this summer with all of the former 767 ATL peeps commuting to the ER.

Nice to see only 14 SILs for June. All 765 from ATL.
