No. I researched last year to see if they would match donations to the MS society. Nope. I also tried to see if they would donate anything, a t-shirt, mug anything for a MS fundraising event and they don't do that as they already have their groups that they support. I totally understand this as we are big supporters to the MS Society (my wife has MS) and you can only help out so many good causes.
This is why this Republic / Frontier deal us bad...

My understanding is that the frontier flight does not fly under DAL code, but interestingly, the new DAL flight is operated by another RAH carrier.
I am personally torn on this.
Is DAL being smart by competing RAH vs RAH?
Or is this yet another shell game in which DAL subsidizes the new flight, but when it cant operate, our pax are bought tickets on Frontier by DAL?
Who tells the RAH pilots not to operate due to (pick a reason) DAL or RAH?

For you RAH and RJ haters, this looks full of win. RAH Frontier gets direct competition for their money losing branded service from one of their own and Delta gets the revenue. If they cancel too much or have poor operational performance, they get their CPA penalties applied.

no greivance, so you guys are cool with subsidising the competition?
The DCI flights operated by Chatauqua are capacity purchase. DAL does all marketing/pricing/scheduling. If the flight doesn't operate or doesn't operate within DAL parameters, Chatauqua doesn't get paid or has their payment decreased.

However, I would not say I am an RAH or RJ hater. I'm not a hater, I'm a lover.... I'm just not as good as it as say, Ferd149....
