Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
I do not know, but I do not beleive they should be.
I can see allowing a guy to pick up off the swap board, as a p/u only, but I do not think that a pilot should be able to swap his sked out for one in a different base. This idea works well for guys too junior to hold a line in ATL so he bids NYC, and then swaps his crappy uncommutable stuff in NYC for stuff in ATL.
We see plenty of Out of Base WS's but swapping would be totally different.

"The paint job is in compliance." "These aren't the droids you're looking for."
Pardon the Francais but how the he!! are they allowed to fly our routes? Their 319s,320s & 190s are competing with us, yet we are paying for their fuel and services.
Am I in the wrong for thinking this out like this. I am concerned, folks. Again our jobs are in danger with the turns of the tide..

Im lost. Can somebody answer this? Republic Airlines is RAH and they bought an Airbus Operator-Frontier Airlines. As of today, they are a Single Airline with the NMB ruling on STS, correct? So now Republic is more like Jetblue, they have 190s and 319,320s, except their pay is lower, correct?

My reaction is similar to a person watching 2 girls 1 cup for the first time.

It depends. They have always had one list. (Last seven years or so) and could go from certificate to certificate but it involved INDOC and a few other things. What this ruling exactly means is important. If the certificates do no go away, and the holding company still keeps separate management teams in place, it could be mostly a labor thing and not a corporate definition of single carrier. Like I said, it depends on how this is implemented by Republic Holdings.
Either way that little airline and their leader are one of our biggest threats. They could easily bypass any legacies section one by flying US passengers to a JV/Alliance partners flight without every attaching our code to it. This effectively bypasses section one of every mainline PWA. A domestic cabotage agreement with all of the airlines of Skyteam (in our case) is needed where Delta Pilots and DAL are the "domestic airline in the US for all Skyteam flying. Same would hold true for every other skyteam airline and their unionized pilots across the alliance. What this effectively does is keep each carrier from poaching domestic feed away from an alliance pilot group. It makes the fear many have of RJET null and void.
