I just picked the wrong airline for the right reasons.
Your choice was based on the perception that they had a strong union? Really?

What about the 2001 NWA hires who picked NWA and now they are behind 2007 DAL hires, who just started flying in 2003?

This darn industry was never meant to be fair. Just enjoy your home life and try to make the industry better by fighting forward and enhancing your future.

tyg, didn't you just get the ER in LAX? seems like a decent upgrade from MSP...

I can say that as I sit in this stinky lounge chair under F9 in MSP.

The choice was based on several factors, but yes. They didn't seem like a group that management could push around.

I wasn't aware of all the inter-ALPA drama at the time. I did know I didn't want to go join Hoffa's kids at CHQ.

I'll bet you are in a very small group that made a job choice based on a union..
