Except the "gs pay" is only single pay on a GSWC. Not double like a regular GS.

Yes. Green slips are step 18 in the award sequence. GSWC don't come til step 27.

Thanks Dug. I watched your movie with my daughters a few weeks ago. You are hilarious everywhere.

Hockey figured it out, he just likes to complain alot. He was "benched" and got paid while having no responsibility for work.

Terrible system for him...

Ok. I'm starting to see all of that now. Single pay and credit for the removed rotation and single pay no credit for the GSWC rotation.

Note to self: Ignore the parts of the contract that refer to the "loop back."

GSWC is a whole different level of desperation on the part of scheduling. You generally only see those given out with extreme IROP situations in categories that are very short staffed. They have a lot of other ways to get rid of open trips before they get to that point.

GSWC does go in seniority order. But they would have to go through all the regular greenslip requests (without conflict) long before they would ever start processing the GSWC requests. Does that make sense?

Oh yeah.. I forgot. Getting paid guarantee to sit at home with the family is a horrible deal.

"Loop back" is a little known provision that refers to a maneuver only authorized to be flown by NewK in the DC-9.

Perhaps they mean this:

Or this, which i think has something to do with raw value calculations:

But I think this next one is the most likely possibility... notice it stealthily moving right by ATL twice:
