Not what I was expecting to see.....AMR has code share with B6 and VA is looking at a partner to compete with AMR/BA across the atlantic. I guess it could be a way to get people off AMR and onto VA.

None of the bars in NYC are all that great. Zagat says the average drink price is $10.12. Imagine my shock, a farmboy from Kentucky, when the bartender wanted more than $20 for two pints. I thought she was joking. [sigh] I made sure the Captain bought the rest.

Um, yep.
Question now becomes is B6 become a DAL target and or does DAL buy the 49% stake that Singapore has in Virgin...... Lots of playing still to go on here.

McSorleys Old Ale House (oldest bar in NYC, same place since 1854...still serving nothing but McSoreleys Dark and McSorleys Light) - E 7th St & 3rd Ave.
Off the Wagon - $8 pitchers at happy hour, beer pong tourneys to relive your college days - MacDougal & Bleecker
Continental - 5 shots of anything they serve for $10, all day every day. Some surprisingly top-shelf stuff included. Third Ave & Astor Place.
The Slaughered Lamb Pub - tons of imports & micros, good prices - Jones & W 4th St
Blind Tiger - more expensive beers but a lot of really great stuff you've never heard of - Jones & Bleecker
2 Bros Pizza - soak up all the booze with surprisingly good pizza for $1/slice. St Marks Place between 2nd & 3rd Ave.
Haven't spent as much time in midtown but generally seems harder to find good but cheap bars. Have been to Blarney Stone, it's good and not too spendy, gonna check out Faces & Names on my next LGA layover....

Or maybe we do nothing and just sit on our cash.
I say cut utilization (especially in Asia) on the A330 and give all that flying to the LAX ER dudes!!
Not that I would care anything about that
