Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Heard a few ramblings that the NYC slot/swap has been settled and should be out soon. Though I did hear that about 3 weeks ago, so I'm sure it's anybody's guess on how accurate that is.
You bring up a good point regarding the next AE, I am sure they have probably delayed it until the Slot Swap deal becomes official. If anything it shows that they are probably close to coming to a settlement on it.

I think the year of the customer just meant they were going to give the customer what they wanted, lowest possible fares. Who cares about customer service or on time performance?

While not exactly Supreme Bikini Inspector, Gaddafi does have a 40 member cadre of personal bodyguards that he handpicks himself. They are all female and must be Virgins to gain entry to the squad. They are nicknamed the 'Amazonian Guards'. In a 1998 assassination attempt on his motorcade, 7 of them were wounded and one was killed reportedly throwing herself in front of the Colonel.
....So he's not completely crazy!

Pretty unusual for a company that's not an air carrier.
