I am a very happy camper. I picked up a white slip earlier this month. Just happened to be paired up with a check airman. Lucky me, they bought my trip so they could do OE with a newbie. The time for 23g5 just expired and I'm coolin' and chillin' with a cocktail and getting paid for a 3 day!!!!!!! Party at my house this weekend!!!!!!

I've been commuting on comair a lot lately, and it has been awful. Havent been out or in on time in over a month. When chatting with the crew the terrible attitude is right out there for every one to see. I'm sure it's hard for those guys to have a good attitude with all their shrinkage, but sarcastic PAs are not the answer.
Yea, my canceled GS today resulted in my commuting home on Comair - the 3 hour late edition. Unlike the guy that had the sarcastic comments, we basically had no PAs while we sat at the gate for over an hour.
Reason #64 to recapture scope - A happy commuter is one who doesn't have to rely on Comair.
The premiums blow any others out of the water, but I've got friends there that have had total nightmares with the service. Lots of stuff denied, not paid, billed wrong, etc. They also have co-pays which when you factor those in can offset the lower premiums by quite a bit if you go to the doctor alot. It's cheaper, but cheaper isn't always better when it comes to health insurance from what I've experienced.

Details still matter...a lot. You can't just focus on the numbers in bold.

They only said that because SWAPA negotiated a contract that pays more and has better work rules and super strong scope and an airline that succeeded in running its competitors into chapter 11... wait... ya know, maybe the best answer would be "stick with us guys and goddesses cuz we've got a lot that needs a fixin and we're rollin out magic, bro. *****in focus. all wins. contract 2012, it'll be like being on a space ship to the moon."
Also they have no International Scope, and frankly that is where their growth potential is. It could very well nail them in the six.
"If the employees come first, then they're happy, ... A motivated employee treats the customer well. The customer is happy so they keep coming back, which pleases the shareholders. It's not one of the enduring Green mysteries of all time, it is just the way it works." - Herb Kelleher
Their management cannot "nail them in the six" without significantly departing from the core philosophy that has made SWA a success.

Then one day the puppy fetches the bone and goes for a walk and instead of some dog chow, the owner kicks it in the face.
Same thing happens the next day, and every day thereafter for several years.
Think the dog's gonna play frisbee and fetch the ball??? It would have to be out of its mind to care!
