Yep, NewK is right. I was working on my bids last night and the LAX 73N rotations for April are way different then normal. Three and four leg days, Grand Rapids, Madison, WI, Nashville, etc.

Set Condition Max Credit I understand. Just thought I had read 1000's of posts before about how to bid differently in a month one is going to training on a new a/c to max out on pay.

Maybe shadow lines was the wrong memory item to recall in this example. Thanks

Isn't the Set Condition Max very dangerous? Doesn't it violate some of your preferences in order to build you the biggest line possible?

I believe so, but if your shadow bidding it likely doesn't matter because you won't be doing the trip(s) anyway.

Interesting. I wonder where it will come out of? Maybe we could do another city in China, you know, just to help out. HNL - CAN - HNL on the ER? I don't know about it supporting daily service, but.............

China Eastern examining scheduled Honolulu service
March 4, 2011

Future SkyTeam member China Eastern has petitioned the Chinese government to begin regularly scheduled nonstop service from China to Honolulu, according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

China Eastern recently operated three charter flights from China to Honolulu during the Chinese New Year holidays that were sold out in just 14 days, according to the story.

Michael Merner, a Hawaii Tourism official said, “Hawaii is outperforming all other major overseas destinations in the China market.” Merner added there was a 57% uptick in Chinese travel to Hawaii last year as a result of easier visa processing for Chinese citizens.

Pending Chinese government approval, China Eastern would also have to secure permission from the U.S. Department of Transportation, according to the article.

Default Help! can they do this?

I'm new to this line-holder thing, but I just got a call from crew tracking advising me of a reroute that flies me into my day off. There are no IROPS going on other than a delayed DH. Can they do that? They never did this to me as a reserve and I'm not happy about it as a line-holder. Any contract geniuses on here to shed some light? Suggestions?

I don't know if they can do it or not. Personally, I would do it no questions asked, then call in sick for my next trip. It is bull though especially if you have something planned with your family.
