So I downloaded the May bid package. We now have to bid reserve in PBS. There in big red letters it says max days off reserve is 3? So the most days off in a row I can have is 3? The min days on reserve is 4. That would make about 20 days on reserve and 11 days off. It also makes for 5 or 6 commutes instead of 3. That sux big time!

That sucks. I didn't mind the 14 on in a row as long as I got 6-7 days off in a row... which I did nail with a 6 day greenslip. I missed the chance once to get a 6 day inverse assignment on my days off. I still think about that trip...

All I have to say is PCS swap. It is what makes reserve life bearable.

One thing that I forgot to mention out of the PTC meeting was they could "quite possibly" see the 765 in NYC.
I have been saying this for a very long time, but this is the first time I have seen public confirmation of this.

Time to become a commuter.

ACL,

What does the 765 bring to NYC over what the ER does?

Is this correct, max of 3 days off in a row?

What is PCS swap? And are you saying they will shift 765 from ATL to NYC? They would eliminate that category in ATL? I would think that would really ruffle some feathers in ATL.

On Thursday night BC stated that the 765 could possibly be moved to NYC where it is better suited.

765 is basically 330 pay. A lot better than the ER.

Maybe good news for the SEA 330 guys. I was wondering if they would maybe move most of that to NYC.

I thought so too Fred. It sounds like those may move to ATL. I know they are putting the ER in SEA. They talked a lot about that.
Basically said ATL had room for every category.
