You often still hear it manifested this way, first anything made by Embraer or that Bombadeer company is not a mainline aircraft and then when it comes to RJ pay "they're paying their dues, I paid mine..."
In a any event we agree that we have to get this flying back to the mainline. In my opinion, it's more important than the pay issue. Ironically, my family would be doing much better pay wise if both of us were flying at Delta at current pay rates than one of use flying for "The DC 9 Replacement Airline" and the other of us at Delta.
I can see where back in the 90's the Metroliners flying between Sun Valley and SLC wasn't much of a threat. But boy, it sure got out of control fast!

Unfethered, capped and clear on the left.

Look I'm going to tell you what I told the CPO, ALPA and everyone else at the table. Your wife is hot. And I am as pure and clean as the wind driven snow. And I wear my hat.

But that 80ktsclamp guy... I'd watch him.

I once heard that Pratt and Whitney had the opportunity to make a bid to produce the ERJ-145's engine but passed citing that nobody would buy an RJ. Now I think there are a little over a 1,000 of them and they financed the creation of the E-Jets.

it got out of hand real fast. besides who knew in the early 1990s that a stretched diminutive corporate jet and a jet version of a problematic foreign turboprop all seating a meager 50 seats would unseat a 737?

And who knew that not every aircraft in an airlines fleet had to be flown the same as the 727!

You'd been called the present version of the future Charlie Sheen if you predicted that. But had you said it would be good for the airline, then you'd made perfect ALPA leadership material.

Alright, $86M in the mega millions lottery. A-26, B-25 or Beech 18. Can't decide which. Maybe a PBY? But where in Georgia can you take a PBY? The Hooche?

You know, both of my parents are retired Chicago Public School teachers and I don't know of anything they (or their union) were diametrically opposed to, but especially not other unions.

But, as Ferd said, that's a conversation better left to another board or forum. So, I'll let it go.

You know the regional for Iberia, Air Nostrum, now requires that its all female cabin crew wear dresses that can be no lower than 5cm above the knee.

And I'll never see two women eating pizza that excited to see me. In fact, my own wife never is that excited to see me. Probably because she knows I've been eating pizza at Cici's instead of going to Home Depot. Which means that the toilet will not only not get fixed but the problem will get exasperated.

FTB needs to be studying.

I learned something new studying. If your plane has wifi the FA's can talk to the UPMC from the cabin on their phone per Chapter 7 of their manual.

This FOM sure is full of interesting stuff.
