Back when GPS first came out, to get the reliability of the signal desired for approaches, GPS repeaters were used. This allowed you to put a repeater within 25 nm of an airport(s) and voila (the correct spelling) you had a reliable GPS approach. This was before the military allowed everyone to have the accurate signal.
GPS is generally not the primary system, it is an updater of nav systems. So, why do you need awesome GPS prior to the terminal area?

You need to change your options, your download is set for "Transfer to iCrew Mobile App" to your phone. Log on to iCrew first, then right click on the iCrewMax icon in the lower corner of Firefox, Options, Rotation, then select your download of choice.
I go back and forth between the two formats each month to download to my calendar and download to my phone.

The iPad is going to have to fix the very big problem of screen glare. At altitude during the day, the screen is all but unreadable due to glare.

If you hear that a Delta pilot bought a A-26 or B-25 then rest assured it was me and I won mega millions. Leaning towards that A-26... Douglas thing. 
Back in college I got a chance to fly in the back of the all aluminum P-51 with the 9 on the side here:
The owner, Jimmy Leeward, lives in Ocala. Supposedly his dad gave him some advice growing up which was not to pursue a career in aviation, go make money and fly planes for fun. That worked out for him and me.

One thing I can't stand on the MD-88/90 is when the FAs block passengers from boarding so they can serve drinks to first class. First class can wait for the natural breaks in passengers to serve drinks. Otherwise, that's just 30 seconds gone, 1 minute gone ... on and on ... that you're losing when trying to make D-0.
