Any idea how long people are sitting around for 7ER IOE? Lately, at least 4-5 weeks?

Have you not flown in the last 60 days or did you forget to log your landings?

Must be nice. Scheduling won't leave me alone. Over guarantee again, & everyday we are under coverage. Long call reserve does not exist on the 320. It's either SC or flying/deadheading. A LOT of deadheading.

i guess i won't bid the 320 when it comes to ATL.
Maybe you should bid off for some QOL

No point with all the aircraft & base shuffling. I don't want to get locked into something worse.

I get that from time to time. buuuut it's because I'm lazy and hate having to log them on icrew when the computers should be perfectly capable of logging them for us.

Yep, we are short, no doubt about it.
With my fatigue call which I should get paid for plus recurrent I should be at 91 hrs! No greenslips...

But how can it get worse from what your doing now
Hey look on the bright side, when I was a new-hire the 88 was getting used on rsv just like you are and the 7ER guys were sitting around. (but then the 7ER was just intl). Now the 88 guys don't fly and the 7ER guys are flying all the time and the summer is not even here. My point is this will flip back just who knows when. I took 3 years last time, so maybe your 320 will come around but by then you should hold a line, but it is always nice to bid a 70hrs paycheck and fly maybe fly 1 trip if you lucky a get the weekends off.

In either case call Scheduling and have them show you full for the month. You are done if you are within two hrs of ALV

Boeing wining that contract means that the 764 line will remain open and they may want to give a few "deal" on some jets.....
The 767-400 production line has been closed for almost 9 years. The only line currently open is the 767-300 production line. The tanker will be almost a unique aircraft with a 400 type cockpit with a bunch of differences and a 200 fuselage. I don't think any of that will translate over to Boeing opening up 767 400 production again.

I looked the other day at, out of the 7 ERB categories, 5 of them had no days where they were above required reserves. Two (SEA I think) had about 20% of the days above, while NYC had about half above. We just need more pilots.

How's 'bout the other categories?
As has been pointed out here before by others the reserves required formula has nothing to do with the actual desired manning of the category for the company or the required manning per the contract. Its only purpose is to determine if pilots can swap or drop trips. The company is currently in compliance with the manning formula. They really should have renamed the reserves required to something like the swap drop matrix. It generates lots of confusion.
