What is the most successful way to get a trip from open time pot for a bottom feeder lineholder? I've tried swap with pot with no success day after day after day! Then I saw a trip that i wanted awarded to someone with a "W" whiteslip on his sked?? Can they do that a month in advance?

A limitation on swapping with the pot is that there must be adequate reserve coverage for the trip you are dropping, unless the trip you want to pick up operates over the same days as what you are dropping.

Between this stuff and President's push for high-speed rail (a product without a customer), I'm wondering just how much the high-speed rail folks are spending to influence the national conversation.
