Congrats to FTB & Mom.

Just one question. Does the newborn already know all the flows for the 88/90? Soon enough, I'm sure.

Congrats again,

GJ

Define productivity as it relates to a comparable metric. We fly international which is by definition less productive in terms of aircraft utilization... I think.. I mean our airplanes sit for 16 hours in the deep south while theirs sit for 30 minutes or so... I guess ours are flying more hours/day, but still I wonder how we can compare them to us when we really are two different kinds of airlines...

It Boeing were to come out with a brand new aircraft shortly after 2020 they would clean Airbuses clock. Everyone would wait for the new generation. Why buy a aircraft mostly based on early eighties technology that will be outdated in a few years. That is one reason Boeing has said that the NEO does not make sense. I think you will see Boeing launch a all new aircraft before 2014 to be available around 2020.

After the blunder that is the 787, I don't think Boeing will get anything out before 2025. Unless just maybe they decide to build the ENTIRE airplane right in the good old US of A. Then maybe they can actually get it out as promised.
