You'll get paid 1X above guarantee for the stuff flown in your reserve month and your PB days will go into your bank. The hours you fly in a regular month will be paid 2X pay with no days off back. You should see the credit hours for each month show up in the green slip hours spot on your time card, but can't really figure out exactly how it's paid until after your paid and see the pay statement.

If there is credit in the trip it will be applied by default in the month that the rotation ends.

Understanding there are surpluses on the M88 fleets in ATL,MSP,NYC, some of our most junior bases. Where can they be displaced to?

Just looked at the AE: Wow! I was expecting to see the MSP DC9 sent south. I guess the Governor issued a Stay of Execution at the last minute.

(Beer Mug in Hand, Skoal!) Here is a toast to my fellow Nordic 9 Bros. A few more months and another sweaty summer on the beast. I hope everybody gets what they want. Merry AE

For the most part they probably won't go anywhere.

Some of the ATL guys might get pushed out, they'll have no problem bidding up to DTW on anything ER and below.

The new positions in DTW & NYC will probably negate needing to displace any of the NYC guys.

In MSP there's a possibility some of them would have to go DTW 9 (they are pretty junior), but the new positions in DTW, SLC, LAX & SEA could easily absorb any need for displacements there as well.

Thanks Rocky. That's what I was hoping but couldn't find it any where in the contract. I'm on reserve for one day on Jan. 30th and am off Jan 31 thru 6 Feb on a regular line. I've already surpassed my reserve guarantee (vacation included) for the Jan bid period. Didn't know whether I should throw in a greenslip for Jan 30th or not. (For a less than 12 hour report)

So I got displaced a year ago to the 73N (started class in May), and it still has the "i would like to be reinstated to the 767B" box on my AE. Is that still valid? How long are my reinstatement rights even though there have been 2 other AEs?

Just pondering the options.

Whoa there, Serious Bear. I was making a joke!

Besides, a non airline pilot coming to airline forums would be like me visiting some other professions forums. It would be (is) filled with shop talk and nitpicking over problems. People outside the profession won't understand it and will see the negativity... especially in a profession that has been horribly outsourced and dealt with bankruptcy and paycuts.

You should know better than that.

As a added small bonus you will still be considered as having no GS's and up for GS number 1 in the regular line month.

80,

Pretty sure the reinstatement rights are 180 days from your conversion. So, when were you converted? (just checked PWA) According to page 22-9 you have 180 days from conversion.

Thanks! I swear this website is quicker than looking it up on the contract, haha.

Converted 1 June. Prob just expired! I was thinking about a freebie back to the 767 and then ride the displacement for the ER conversion... I'm not much of a fan of the 737 so far to say the least. It has it's moments but between not really liking the airplane and constant abuse on reserve I'm pretty muchdone with this. I can deal with the rsv abuse if I really enjoy flying the airplane but this is approaching my limit!
