Yeah, I prefer downtown Minnie as well. But having stayed in St. Paul for a month during training, I did find one thing I really liked. Cossetta's Italian Market. This place has some of the best lasagna I've ever eaten and also some really good NY style pizza. Highly recommend!

BTW, I just did a Google search to find the name of the health club in downtown St. Paul. Looks like it has closed. Here's what I found: Life Time Fitness

They will give you a free pass to lifetime fitness if you are there for training, but not for layovers. Kind of a silly rule if you ask me.

So just tell them you're there for training.

New ownership was supposed to take over. Don't know if they ever did.

BTW, I think the Seahawks are done. Bears have dominated.

Unfortunately, they know if you are only there for a layover. It was a year ago that I was there for training. Sounds like it may have shut down since. Too bad, was a pretty good facility.

will they ever, especially if the 320 gets an ATL base, send one or more 88 sims to msp and 320s south. And do we have enough sims for the 88 if the fleet expands ever more?

I doubt it. It costs a lot to move a sim. JMO.

What Delta has done in every other merger is keep the training facilities open for a few years. Eventually they close them and move everything to Atlanta. I believe they have a lot of bays that are not in use and many have sims for equipment we no longer have. It does not make sense from a cost standpoint to run two training centers. They have made promises to MSP for the near term but long term I would not expect them to run two training centers.
