Tickets on DL, ATL-DFW are double normal to $600 Feb 4-7. What's going on?
Hope not too many have to commute.
Interestingly, prices have also increased from BOS, PIT, EWR, and PHL, but for some reason have remained constant from MSP.

I got it off the Crew Resources & Scheduling Page. Ya know, the notes they put on there.

Will the new AE forecasted to be issued on the 7th include the number of new-hire vacancies?

Short answer, no.

Long answer, One may be able to garner an idea of how many new hire spots we may have based on upcoming vacancies(minus surpluses) but there is no line item new hire spots available. It will be more predictable once the results come out usually 7-10 days after closing.

Default Delta making $$ carrying teams

Watching the bowls this week and enjoyed the hourly coverage yesterday on ESPN of the Auburn team arriving on a Majestic 744 (I'm sure Carl was there). Say what you want, but arriving in a 744 sure beats arriving in anything else. Anyway found this article today on Bloomberg.

The Auburn Tigers and Oregon Ducks football teams flew to Arizona for next week’s BCS National Championship game on Delta Air Lines Inc. charters that offer luxuries such as extra room and generate higher profits. Delta Air Woos NBA, Colleges With Legroom, Leather as Charters Pad Profit - Bloomberg

Guess I'm a little late to the "Party".

Reserve question:

If you are on reserve for 9 days straight they have to give you a 24 hour rest period somewhere within 7 days (overnight or other). Lets say they assign you rest from 10pm to 10pm on the 5th - 6th day.

Are you required to acknowledge anything while on rest? Specifically short call at 6am the day after rest? I know they have to give 10 ours for conversion to short call so think 8am would be the earliest if acknowledged at 10pm the night before.

Also, since you're not on an X day you wouldn't be required to check your schedule after 3pm the day before (in this case while on rest).

Is this right? Thanks.

you don't have to acknowledge rest to get it anyway, and after you check you sched at 3 the day before you start your first on, they have to call you for your assignmeents,.....except remember....you must check your schedule after every trip is complete while on reserve.

Few quick questions:
Just saw the 330 is doing DKR and LAD in FEB. Good, bad or ugly?
Looks like I will have to go on Short Term Disability for 2 weeks in Feb. (coming back Mar 1) Can I still bid the AE and will that effect my Profit Sharing participation?
Thanks

Anybody have an idea as to when the profit sharing may be out and how much / what percentage?

Did DKR out of NYC and we had a great time. Now the older hags out of ATL probably won't jump of the pier or get shiffozzed by the pool.
