Yes, the Iphone stinks at typing.

Maybe someone has taken over this screen name long ago.

They always make sense to me

Was non-reving today from RSW to CVG and there was this Skywest pilot sitting behind me trying to get DEN. Couldn't help but overhear his conversation with his crew scheduling...

him: "hey skeds" .... "just wanted to give you a heads up on my situation. I am commuting to DEN this morning.. blah blah blah and I was wondering if you could give me positive space on the leg from CVG to DEN?"

them: (apparently) "no"

him: "well you can't blame a guy for trying"

I have seen this a lot in the past but had hoped guys were not playing this game anymore. FYI, I guess its still in play.

I became concerned about the possibility of an ACL imposter around the time DPA came up... but for different reasons.

Funny you should mention DPA and imposters in the same sentence.

There are regionals that PS people if they are need of pilots to cover the operation.

What is wrong with it? From talking to a couple NWA/DL pilots it happens from time to time there also.

The problem is that they use Delta to PS pilots to cover the United operation. That is (picture a finger wave, Deltalina-style)... not allowed on this or any other Delta flight.

A SkyWest crewmember getting a positive space DH on a Delta flight to DEN where SkyWest flies for United is a no-no.
