I'm looking forward to getting out there sometime too. Put some info up when you get back.

LOL.

From a southie you'll most likely hear "Heading Select, Auto-throttles - Off, Talk to Tower." At 1000' "Bug Flaps One Speed." " At Flaps One, "Level Change," "Max Continuous Thrust," "Engine Failure Check," "After Takeoff Check."

Followed by, "*** is filch?" "I have the aircraft." "Are you a northie?" "Geezz, you guys."

C'mon FTB! That's my wife! (Although she was, at one time, a DAL FA. Not that there's anything wrong with that. That was when she was young and innocent and I didn't know better. Sheesh, how far I've come).

I know I would get re-route pay for the one extra leg and the last day, but I almost read the contract (23.L.9) to make me believe I would get re-route pay for the entire third day plus the last day.

Also do you get payback days if re-routed into an off day on reserve or just the 1.5X pay?

I do not have the PWA in front of me, but I have been rerouted in to an X and * day and all I got back was the off day with no premium pay.

As I take it they can most those days off as they see fit. The * day basically is a day they cannot move, but for a IROP that cannot get you back to base, they can violate it and have seen it done.

Part of the reason I never schedule anything on my first off day that cannot be moved easily.
