Happy Christmas to my Delta brethren, especially the guys flying the line, and many thoughts and thanks to all those serving the country in far away places.

After reading all the NICE posts here I wonder who will get the lump of coal, the north side or the south side? Merry Christmas to all!
Hey one of you international guys wanna give me some tips on where to stay in ROR or maybe send me a message with the crew hotel # or price info. Looking to head out there on Saturday through NRT so any other tips are appreciated too. Thanks
I spent a lot of time in the jumpseat of NW 757s in between LGA and DTW when I was flying the MD-88 (about a year before the merger was announced), so when I went to 767 school I was calling it "Felch" like I was used to hearing.
"We call it flight level change here, son"
"okay then... I'm on probation still.... whatever you say!"
767 school at Delta was not very good... very little in the books as far as actual stuff that is normally done on the line and even worse systems manuals. It's like it was barely come out of the dark ages of the good ol' boy flying. The other two schools I've been through were much much better... 73N school was absolutely fantastic.
Merry Christmas, all!
A christmas present to all:
