The contract is on the ALPA website... check it out. I think you actually have to fly your GS/WS to get paid.

I doubt they make the same mistake again so soon, but it was rather enhoyable.

Once you white slip a trip it is just like any other trip on your line. If you call in sick for it you should be paid for it 100% as long as you have the sick leave hours at 100% pay in your sick leave bank (Which it sounds like you do). Be careful about calling in well on any day the trip is still operating if you want full pay for the trip. Say you have a 4 day, call in sick on the first day and then call in well in the morning on the third day, you would only get sick pay for the first 2 days. This came about because there were guys calling in sick on day one and then well on day 2 then green slipping.

I do believe that is only for a green slip.

This is good advice. While the Contract does have those pesky holiday exceptions, if the reserve coverage is there, an APD will be granted before a PD will be granted. I've had this happen to me.

I also would call the CPSC. They have the ability to "pull" some strings on your behalf.

Yeah, I have tickets in hand, but will be in upgrade OE, so I'm hoping that scheduling will be nice and give me a couple days off...

Last time UW was in the Rose ('99-'00), I slept through student ticket sales. Don't want to have to miss it again.
