You won't realize anything if you won't fight for it. In your case, you don't even want to ask!

It's not extracting...it's restoring!

No. When that happens, we pilots do what we've always done. We give what is necessary to save our companies. And if you would lower your neurosis long enough to think, you would realize that the top third takes the same hit as the middle and bottom third when pay cuts come. Nobody laughs all the way to the bank...except management that is.

That's true. I just don't want anyone to forget where the money is coming from for the next 9 quarters and beyond...the pilots' extreme sacrifices. Don't forget...don't forget!

Not if you don't fight for it! And certainly not if you do management's job for them by trying to lower your fellow pilots' expectations before Section 6 even begins! I'll tell you man, you wouldn't even be enjoying the low pay we're getting now if all of us old farts had your attitude years ago. Grow a freakin spine!

No it doesn't. It just means they wouldn't have been able to pay down quite as much debt. Get your facts straight. Then stop doing management's job for them.

No, the bankrupcy judge agreed we were a variable cost.

I don't think you mean that at all. I think you're all about lowering the expectations of your fellow pilots so that you get noticed by management some day. Your "work" here is plainly obvious.

Carl, Carl, Carl. Spine is there, the difference is it is attached to patience.

I am all for going for the exact contractual value at the table in which will be just below the number the company decides is not enough to go after in the next down turn/crisis. Do not mistake this for no spine.

No Carl we did by voting yes to our respective 1113C contracts.

Carl, save the expectation drivel. How about you volunteer for ALPA again, quit dividing the group with DPA and get our pilots unified.

Some would accuse you of doing management's work by dividing the group as well.

You solved the mystery! Carl is a management plant! He's only here to divide the pilot group, and secure his bonus.

That explains a lot...
