Good on him. I heard from one of the 88 LCPs (RG) that was there that he was a great guy, lots of questions and wanted to learn as much as he could.

There was another guy there, that nobody liked.
Yeah, looks like a 767-232 in there too. Kinda miss the old Snoopy nose.

We should do a USAir and have at least 1 running around in those colors. Especially a 767.

And there should be a throwback on a NWA plane too, not the latest scheme but the last "when times were good" scheme.

Sorry Bro, but I have to call a party foul on you! Friday night is for Co-eds Cheerleaders and underboob (female only). Not outta shape fellas - I can get that when I look in the mirror, thanks

Would love to see a black/orange scheme DL bird, with the old triangle "speed safety comfort" logo. A "Northwest Orient" retro would be another good one, and I'd also like to see a retro "Yellowbird" and "Wallybird". Wouldn't be too surprised if those show up in the near future. Would suggest Pan Am, but we sold the rights to that. Probably should have kept that corporate identity over Delta, despite the tarnished image. More recognizable than Coca-Cola around the world. Is it too soon to have a retro 747 in Republic colors? Anyone?

The good old days are now. Enjoy them while you can.

Now there's a 744 gut if I've ever seen one.

Well, I believe Cam Newton is great, but not so sure our defensive backs will hold up against ARK's QB's and probable first pick of the draft's air assault... however, I have hope and I really hate Patreno so I sure hope the 6-0 cardiac tigers win. GO TIGERS!

I say all of that because I'm going to post this pic to correct Carl's sin but I don't want to hear any trash talking if Auburn fails to win. We're Auburn, we have girls that look like this below, we never lose.

Its really War Damn Eagle, but War Cam Eagle is more fun.

For full disclosure purposes I married a UGA grad. But I still brag about Auburn.... on anonymous webboards in the middle of the night.

Here here. War Damn Eagle! I'm also a little worried about tomorrow vs. Ar-Kansas. I'm actually more concerned about them than LSU.

*Married to a Vandy grad (and secretly hoping they add to UGA's misery tomorrow, no offense to your wife)

This is predicted as an operating profit or net? Anybody know?

Even though Delta Air Lines is no longer the biggest in the industry, thanks to the Oct. 1 merger of United Airlines and Continental Airlines, analysts say Atlanta-based Delta should still be top dog for this quarter's profits.
Analysts expect Delta to report a $789 million profit in the third quarter . The new United Airlines is expected to have the second-highest among domestic carriers, with an estimated $484 million.
Herbst estimates that the nine largest U.S. airlines will report $2.4 billion in profit on $33.3 billion in revenue for the third quarter, making it the first year since 2007 when the industry has had two profitable quarters in a row.
"There is just a lot of pent-up demand," Herbst said.
"There are a lot of leisure travelers that just stopped flying and then this year, they decided to just go for it."
