Ha, well, in case there is a spirited debate tonight I don't doubt for a moment that we'll pass 50,000. But, FTB is waiving the white flag. A little girl in our house was up from 2-4 screaming, thus da-da who went to bed at 1 was awoken at 2, thus, last night I slept from 1 til 2.

In case someone can't figure out a good cheerleader to post then here is one idea:

I question how Lee would act if Delta pilots decided to finally state (as the UCAL pilots have) that scope recapture is a goal.

How will he act or support (or probably not) the United pilots if they reach a TA that recaptures scope (ie harms his RJ constituents)?

It keeps coming back to the fundamental conflict of interest. I'm thinking about sending in the DPA card, if for no other reason that to have DALPA and national finally clarify their position on whose interests they have at heart.

Captain Dickson said they have to wait for the budget to get set and then a decision will be made on hiring. I think the timeframe for a decision was sometime after January.
He also said that ASMs would be up first quarter about 3% but flat the rest of the year.

Sometimes their guidance is wrong, but it is up to each pilot group to make that decision, ALPA does not do it for you.
You have no idea what you're talking about.

The national officers are not running the show, your pilot group is.
Do you know how ridiculous you sound coming from your experience at your regional, and telling some of us who have been in ALPA for over 30 years that you know better. Wise up!

I got news for you slick...YOU were an RJ lifer right up until the time you hit the lottery and got hired by Delta. When Delta guys were talking about trying to get some of their flying back when you were flying RJ's, I'll bet you were one of those guys that said: "Screw Them"

Thank you. That video reaffirmed the best of aviation.

It's very easy to forget.
