Doesn't change the fact that pre-merger I was at 40% and post I'm at 90%. You cherry pick about as well as Carl. Keep it in perspective dude. I was responding to a post about all of the FDAL guys "flocking" north because the bases are better.

We are all Delta now - and consequently any guy who comes in above from North or South is equally a jerk!

Disclaimer: This is obviously a joke. Note the smiley face. Guys are free to bid whatever their seniority can hold, especially in ATL, NYC, DTW, MSP, and SEA.

I certainly never said anything like the north bases being better. I was simply reminiscing about those good old days during the SLI where fDAL pilots were saying things like "hardly anybody will want to be at those ******** NWA bases, and all those NWA guys will be bidding into our bases." It's just fun to see that so many fDAL guys are seeing something in those north bases.

Although I am surprised to see so many guys flocking to that "northie" base...JFK.

OK...but maybe a 2001 hire probably shouldn't have been able to hold WB NYC or cherry LAX.

We had the same with new hire F/os holding 757 seats..a fluke. Eventually the water sought it's own level.

Oh...and feel free to come to MSP. a fDAL 2001 hire should be able to hold CA on the DC-9.

Don't know if this has been posted, but I wish DAL ALPA talked to mgt this way, instead of bending over and giving managment what ever they want/ask for.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrD5pjDMl38

BTW... SWA Pilots make approx. $206/hr as a 12yr CA and approx $144/hr as a 12yr FO and that is on the smaller 737-300,500,700 (no 800's... yet).
