OK, Carl, just for you, some facts. Every time an AE comes out, I take the projected category list and "stovepipe" that list for each base. Then I see where I would sit, if I were to bid that base, and every pilot was stovepiped. That gives a true, unbiased look at the relative seniority of the base, at my seniority level. For example, in June-09 I could hold 7ER Captain in NYC on a stovepiped list, but only 73N Captain in ATL, and only 330 F/O in SEA.
So, what does it look like on the category list resulting from the most recent LOA as compared to June-09?
I've moved down in relative position in ATL, CVG, LAX, and NYC. And I've moved up in relative position in DTW, MEM, MSP, SEA and SLC.
I'm not complaining. Just pointing out facts.

FWIW, talking to a buddy that was ATL 767 B on reserve living in base, he bid off and started commuting after he was being used "every day" but coming up with 69 hours of credit. So I think thats not every day but the point is it was a lot of work that he found 73N NYC commuting a better deal.
I like 88 ATL reserve, the money hurts, but the lifestyle has been good for me.

Actually, I totally disagree with you about pricing power. When our load factors are at over 80 percent we are essentially flying full most of the time because so much capacity has been taken out of the system. If you look at the internet and technology it has been a double edged sword. If you want to see the biggest disconnect it is SWA as a low cost carrier. Very often, if you try to get a TV "sale" fare you better do it quickly because it's not there very long. All the carriers have gone to "Just in Time" pricing and you never know exactly what is the best time to get a great fare. It could be 6 months, 2 months, 2 weeks or the day prior. OR, the fare you saw now may not be there in five minutes (particularly if you need more than one seat). There is very little excess capacity on any of the airlines right now. How did the business make $8 Billion dollars this year? The key is not expanding too quickly now so that if the economy is flat next year we can still make money.

The honorable Denny, be nice. However, if OU had lost, I'd laughed. OU and OSU are trying to play each other in the national championship so for the first time one of the two could actually win a big game. Of course I'd laugh if it was a 7-7 tie and had to go to OT. ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.airlinepilotforums.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)

I'm still trying to figure out how ATL 767 went so junior considering I thought it was going away, maybe not as soon as once planned but still. But its great, just surprised.
As to Anna Kour... you know who. All I can say is when I was at Auburn a buddy of mine dated a cheerleader, she was cute, hot and mesmorizing and I'll admit to looking like a fool when she walked up and introduced herself. But I'm fine with that, because I met her.
BUT, another buddy dated a tennis player... W-O-W. Its like cheerleaders in a tall version.![EEK!](https://www.airlinepilotforums.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
I got caught staring. Again, fine with that too.
Oh if only I had been a Ferd, I could've walked right up to one of them while standing next to their man - and they were cool dudes - and said "Well, here I am. Now what are your other two wishes?"
Only a Ferd could do that.

Simple, everyone knows it is going away for most just bid around it.

You could just about bank on NYC/LAX/SEA/ATL going more senior, and sure enough it's happening.
So what?
