Enough with all the FNWA and FDAL talk. Stop living in the past and focus on the future. We are ONE company now. Put the focus on improving what we have now.

Carl, I got the no raises and long duration straight from a NWA pilot. I called him back to ask if the info was correct. He said that I should have said virtually no raises and he quoted the numbers from the contract.
757 Captain at signing 142.28
At amendable date 151.78
Total raise over 5 years 9.50 cents per hour.
Joint contract rate at NWA old amendable date. 188.96.
Again I voted no on the joint contract because our original contract was amendable last winter. We should be in the heart of negotiations. I believe all pilots both former NWA and former Delta made a mistake in voting for the joing contract because of the amendable date. It however hurt the south pilots more because our chapter 11 contract was amendable so much sooner. I believe in fact that that was a key reason why the joint contract was passed with such a high margin by Delta N pilots is because extended the old NWA contract only 1 year but extended the Delta contract 3 full years. That extension was hard to swallow for a south pilot. I was told at the time I was foolish to not take the extension because we would be losing lots of money until at least 2112. Event shave shown otherwise. Who knows what will be going on in 2013 when we get into serious talks on finally ending the Chapter 11 contract.

I'm hearing scuttlebutt that 20% in 2012 is gaining currency.
20% isn't nearly enough. I don't know if full restoration is doable, but that should be our opening position.

Others post factually incorrect things about the fNWA contract. I refute it. They say, prove it. I prove it with the actual data. You call it sniveling.
If you have no other capability but to wrongly interpret what's going on around you, maybe you should try to improve on that before you post.
