Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Can't believe FOX had to throw us to the dogs with the Amsterdam drunk pilot deal. I guess Buzz does not have any pull there. Anyway he was not over the US limit. Real bummer.
Truly the drive-by media.
The problem is you have to explain the situation, kind of like the TWY M incident. The key is for pilots is to professionally ignore it. I haven't flown the line since the AMS incident but it makes me wonder if were not going to be back into the situations we talked about months ago about the "are you drunk?" jokes that may require delaying the flight while we get tested.

I was lucky enough to get a private tour of that airplane while in Salzburg - it's an amazing piece of work. Completely restored inside and out and probably better than new. The attention to detail throughout was stunning. As sweet at it looks on the outside, its even nicer inside.
And like FTB said, they keep it polished to a T. It had flown the day prior to my visit and there was a mechanic on a ladder cleaning the exhaust soot off an engine cowl with a hand towel and a spray bottle.

I don't watch any of the 24 hour news networks, I just wanted to point out the extreme naivete of this post.
The CHOICE has been made not to go after them....but believe what you will and spin away since you are the all knowing *****...
