Don't know if anyone's covered this one, but DeltaNet's saying we had record domestic load factors for January. Nice, small spark of good news in the din of bad news going around.

Nothing special, but we didn't have a ton of time there either. Got in around 2345 and left about 1245 the next day. All I did was sleep and eat breakfast. It was very nice scenery though. I suppose if you had more time you could find something to do, perhaps even go ski.

Seriously, if this tread bothers you that much, just don't read it. It's really that simple, but stop trying to control what others want to post and/or read.

Dude. This is a pilot forum. A lot of us are lucky to have found this website with our old IBM 286's.

Respect your elders. Facebook? Please.

This is kind of like facebook. Just a different version so that your facebook page doesn't ever have to see the words SOC, JPWA, MD, VD, A, B, Alpa, post SOC, furlough, displacements, 7ER, DC9, A330, A320, MD88, flight attendants, 744...

And the best part, we're anonymous. That way I can say, hey the LCA I flew with today said X, and nobody runs to ecrew to find out who that was. And ACL65 can post whatever he wants without admitting he's really Richard Anderson.

And when times are slow, which everyone says is good, then we find out what's on the other side of the fence. Its the equivalent to a friend request. Now, to de-friend someone on facebook that's done quietly, here its a public flogging followed by a public shunning.
...
Speaking of which, 123.45 crossing the ocean can sometimes sound just like this forum, a lot of feedback from those who dare to try and complete with the self proclaimed police. I heard an A330 guy yesterday mention that there are 10 A330s coming soon? I thought he said they were "white tail" airplanes that we're going to grab and I thought he mentioned it being a firm order... anyone know?
