All you have to do is "lateral" from JFK to ATL... they don't allow that option at Delta? ****?

Just because you are already an 73N pilot in NYC (for example) doesn't mean you get priority on flying the 88 in ATL. When an advance entitlement comes out, you have to put in a bid for an ATL 73N and hope your seniority can hold it, just like anyone else. The only difference is if you get it, you won't have to go to training.

It is a system bid. IE every one in the company can bid for each position.

Just got back from interview. Can give you an update on the process. Basically it is just like Guard Dude's report. 3/6 on my date were offered 'conditional', 3/6 the next day. The previous week was 3/8'ish all week, so even though they're hiring a lot, they're not hiring everyone. WFFF gouge still works.

Waiting on a class date...Anyone coming up in the 03 Sep or 17 Sep classes? From my 20 Aug class, I was told there was a slim chance I could be in the 03 Sep class, and that the 17 Sep class is wide open. Anyone hear anything?

Hey Gretzky.. congrats! btw, in a prior job I used to fly FAR 135 charter and took your avitar (Ben Stein) on a couple of trips! Neat guy, and used to give you a check for $100 at the end of every trip.. needless to say, I kept the check and didn't cash it! Win Ben Steins money!

Interviewed mid-August. 6/8 got hired. I got the "Ok to train" email 7 business days later. The very next day, I got a call for the 17 Sep class. Two of my classmates got the email and the call on the same day as me.

Best of luck to everyone going to the interview.
