We can put APC on the map brothers!
Buzz,

Do you really think there would be any "acting" required?

Good call Scoop! No, not really. I would just really like you, FTB, Super, 80, Ferd, Carl, Sailing, New, Nu, etc, to just show up and be yourselves. That would be newsworthy in and of itself. The Fox hotties would swoon...

On the downside, of course, our stock would tank, the nation would go into a severe depression, Al Qaeda would sense that we were vulnerable and attack us again, and Joy Behar would shoot to the top of TV's ratings...and we certainly can't have that. Behar aside, the rest would suck too.

Yessir, you are a friend, but are you sure you do not have me confused with NewK?

I mean that sounds like competition for NewK and well we know what NewK would do with competition. Oh, wait, maybe he has done it already, and I do not know it. Better go check for a pulse.

So what is the significance of SLC 767 being converted to SLC 7ER? How does it change staffing? Will it become more junior? More senior? Just curious what it changes other then the obvious of domestic only to domestic/international.

Dude,
The cat ranchers ARE the newest, hottest young FAs we can put on a jet! You must have mistaken the FAs for the various DCIs who's uniforms look very similar to a mainline one.

Buzz, the moment in the interview where you announce you're a proud member of the apcf L&G underground is the moment they cut to our conventon outside the studios at the Avenue of the Americas:

I think we're all in that shot. The question is, who was first up to bang heads?

When they have converted, and completed T.O.E., the SLC 7ER pilots will be able to fly transoceanic international segments. The way it's gone lately, every base has flown Europe, Asia, S.A. trips at some point. While every trip from SLC won't require an extra F.O., some, like Paris will. Whether or not the company decides to staff in SLC for this or just fly in an out of base F.O. will depend on whether they've increased the number of FO's to cover.

So you might see a small increase in First Officer positions, but overall I think the category will remain the same size. SLC is getting more senior every day. I think the SLC ER will be the most senior 7ER category in the system, from top to bottom of the list.

It'll be more senior. There are alot of SLC guys commuting to LAX to fly the ER that will most likely come on back. It will also be totally rebid as a new category letting anyone, even guys with seatlocks, bid the category. When they did that to the 90 category we had over 100 senior fNWA guys come into SLC and I know of a handfull that wanted into SLC but didn't want to fly a narrowbody so they didn't bid the 320. I would assume there are a bunch of fNWA guys that will now bid into SLC since it will be an ER category and open to all. Hopefully there will be a slight staffing increase along with some vacancies in LAX and SEA to help us junior SLC types out.
