I just don't see how a 167 hour layover (thats 7 days for those of you that are math challenged like me) is cheaper than OALing us in...

Hey 29 go ahead and yawn but don't be the guy compalining about my 401 is now a 101 so just put your head in the sand and ignore certain facts and let your 401 go to a 101. I hear so many 201 and 101 stories that don't need to happen and it is because of your very attitude. No harm meant, but good luck to ya, I'm sure you are an investment pro.

I'm with Johnso on this one: yawn. You guys need to do the opposite of the aforementioned (and so well photographed) cheerleader, and keep your panties on.
Personally made about 30 grand today how did you do????? Keep yawning and you will make nothing because you buy into the game that they want you to. Buy and hold baby. Good luck to ya.

You are right about the engineered moves and that they are, you need to take advantage of them.

Heard a rumor in Boston about hiring new F/As, any news on that? Rumor said 800. Also do former NW F/As have the profit sharing clause in thier AFA contract?

As a matter of fact I was just having a drink at the bar, but I do care about my fellow pilot buds and want them to be aware of the market and what is going on. I hate getting on the plane and hearing the 201/101 stories. Pilots in general are really bad investors and try to manage things themselves. That is sort of like getting on an airplane and the guy flying has just got his private licenses. I do not want to be on that flight. It's hard finding the right advice about investments, but for those who are interested I mentioned the Hindenburg omen in that they could be aware that it might not be a good time to be long in the market. It's your choice.

I would agree, however there are only two major carriers into GND. DL and AA. AA is out of MIA and SJU and they denined our (DL) crews on no less than 6 flights over the last two weeks. See even though we have a agreement with them for positive space I.D. 50 confirmed they still denined several DL crews with confirmed seats. In a effort to prevent a Cxld flight the crew was chartered on a Private Jet to GND. AA is unreliable out of MIA and SJU for DL. So the mini vacation at 84 dollars a night hotel room+plus rotation guart+per dim is cheaper than a charter flight or a cxld 757. Who ever gets the 167 hr layover enjoy the mini vacations and send us a photo of you on the beach...And dont even think about deviating from deadhead cause there r no seats to be had on AA or DL...Its a popular destination...Flight attn can do it in one duty period so they dont layover.
