Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
PG;
Funny thing is that I had a very senior Captain tell me the same thing. He wanted a hard number. When I got done giving him the historical rate of inflation over the last 80 years and what our big raises actually equated to, he realized that getting "restoration" or whatever percentage you want out of this next PWA, and then what I posted about, was by far the best thing we could do for ourselves. It takes a lot of the gaming out of the equation.
I know I do not need to tell you any of this, you get it. It is in the end about yoy buying power and that is what we are after. Get us to a rate that is acceptable with a XX% bump and then keep buying power relatively static with a COLA and add a nominal 2-4% DOS+ bump and you have a very rational progression forward.
This is a change in thinking, but one I know we must do given the margins we operate under.

Is it just me or is NOOP seem like BS? A nice fat trip sitting in open time all week. Then the morning of the day prior scheduling lops it up via NOOP and 24 hrs 4 day becomes an 8hr one day with half the time as DH.

I think Super said it best...
Ya know 500 AC, 50 states 5000 pilots? Their new motto. It makes sense.
I would expect them to buy parts of Mesa as well.
I also would not be overly surprised to see SKW Inc, to buy Pinnacle Holdings once the flow issue is finalized.
It is the consolidation that the regionals need.
The only questions is if the DCI air service agreements would be kept intact in the event of a sale to another party like SKW.

Yall wish me luck. I may need a "kick" to get out of there, if not I could go into limbo and be there forever.

I think that since both are ALPA there will be an integration and that is why EV bought them.
I am not sure what to make of my Latin name

During a SLC base visit with SD the network guys were asked this...
I'm paraphrasing but heres the gist of it:
MD90 vs 738
-738 flies 25 days of the month before breaking even, the last 5 days are gravy, the used MD90 are almost the other way around.
- Was asked about the hourly operating cost difference between the MD90 andwith 160 seats vs 738. The network guy dind't give a specific number but asked to guess at $1500 he still was making the "higher" motion...
-In the pilot lounge the Network guy said "obviously the crew costs are lower on the MD90...."
There's a reason the BOD last year authorized the purchase of up to 65 used MD90...

to keep the Latin theme:
Mea Culpa.
Reserves in MD90 bases do actually get paid 70hrs at the MD90 rate.
Cheers

I'm guessing the Mexicana subsidiary Click 717s will hit the used market soon. (even though Mexicana claims Click is unaffected by the bankruptcy filing)
What was the name of the other 7171 operator West of the Mississippi?
Cheers
