We shouldn't have CRJ-200s and ERJs in DCA at all. Nothing smaller than CRJ900s and E175s... or nothing smaller than a 319 would be better still, but until that happens nothing smaller than 900s and E175s.

Saw this on a billboard at an airport in FL...

Just thought I'd post it.

I know. Most International seats staff about 20-25% reserves whereas the narrow body jets are in the 11-14% range.

No, if you worked 17 duty periods your would be credited 5:15 for each one. It is a duty period credit not days worked. I would love to see this go back to a day average not a duty period average.

What we should have a a 5:15 minimum day, period. When we get into an average minimum day we still get screwed.

I agree 110%. Change it back to a calendar day average not a duty period average. Better yet, make it a min day guarantee, not a trip average.

Another question to add on to this one... If you get a greenslip, AND work 17 days on reserve, does the greenslip go on top of 70 hrs or on top of 89.25 (17 X's 5.25)?
