Well it is because most of your trips are worth 82 hrs or so. That is a lot of sick time for a call.
Yes the WB pilots on the 330/765 and above get used significantly less than everyone else. It goes with the territory and amount of flying that can be picked up.

Our trips are pretty evenly divided between 4-13 days, only about 30% of our trips actually fill up a monthly schedule.

They also have to "overstaff" reserves on the widebody fleet because of the massive revenue loss if one cancels for "lack of crew". Also you can't just "re-route" an inbound crew to a different city, they're all pumpkins when they land.

If I work 17 of 18 days on reserve this month, does that trigger 5:15 pay? Or do I just get whatever I credit?

DCA-BOS will be going from all CR2 to 12x E75
DCA-IND willl be going all E75 from 2x CR2
All E75 flights will be on CP and the CR7 to BDL is on OH.
This definitely is targeted at Airways. Meddles with their FL routes, their BOS shuttle,and some other key markets. DL: "Help us get the slot swap done and we'll go away, till then...it's on!"

But thin can be comfortable, just think about hammocks:

They are thin and comfortable and people enjoy sitting in those for hours. And maybe some of our ATR folks can explain how they made hammocks out of the ATR's cargo net. Hmmm...
