Try MOU #8, JCBA Pay Protection Clarification and Anchorage Base Closure. It also has examples, which I won't post here because they're long.

MOU #8:
Pre-merger Delta Pilot Pay Protection Examples
Amend
JCBA Attachment B, Section 4 J. as follows:
J. Minimum Pay and Credit Guarantees Transition for Pre-merger Delta Pilots For a period of 36 months following CBAID, a pilot who is displaced via an MD (or involuntary displacement) to a position with a lesser composite hourly pay rate will be pay protected at the rate applicable to the higher paying position for the hours paid to him in his current category. Such pay protection will be for the difference in the composite hourly pay rate applicable to the position from which he was displaced and the highest paying position his seniority allows him to hold.

This provision will no longer be applicable when a pilot’s seniority allows him to hold a position of equal or greater pay compared to the position from which he was displaced. For example, a 7ERA has as his preference M88B and his seniority is sufficient the he could hold M88A, the pilot will only have the dollar difference between 7ERA and M88A applied to the hours he flies as an M88B.

And there is always this:

Um... to make this relevant, I shall say this is a fine example of the impact one (or a group) might have throwing their weight around. Its a stretch, I know, because I just wanted to post these pics for all you boat lovers and I did post something about the pwa this morning so I've done my one legit post for the day.

Quick question for any one who knows... is MSP-ANC considered international or domestic for 30 in 7 / 32 in 7 calculations?

Default Another quick question...

For the experiences swappers, trip swappers, that is...
So I want to swap with the pot for a trip in Aug - I've had the request in for a couple days now and been neither awarded nor denied - appears to not violate any rules, per the little "does it violate rules" option on icrew. How long in advance of the sign-in do trips in open time get swapped? I presume they're waiting to see if anyone senior to me (about everyone - but only for a couple more weeks!) wants this particular trip.
Thanks for the help

It should have been processed by now. Go to the template for your swap. Once you are there, look at the bottom, I believe that the F4 option says "deny" or something like that. Press F4 and it should give the reasons for a denial.

What seat and a/c? My guess is that there is not enough reserve coverage to allow the swap. Unless you are swapping for exact same dates the two trips operate, the reserve staffing must be at least at the minimum required each day (there is a very complicated rule regarding the multiplier effect, but for simplistic terms, just check to make sure that each day has the required reserves available).

If the required reserves are available and there is no FAR violation, the trip will be swapped automatically at the first PCS run (assuming you are the most senior pilot requesting that trip).

Default swap...

I see - they are short of reserves on both days but the day I want to swap TO has one fewer shortfall than the one I'm vacating so I guess that's the reason.
Thanks for the quick replies

Off topic: holy smokes, the accents on those ground and ramp controllers in Atlanta blow me away. Can someone teach these banjo pickers a little standard American diction?
