Question, not from me btw, using ones cfi for no payment and only for family members and friends, what has been the reception from the CPO?

The aforementioned trip sounds tiring. Is it a 5 day trip?
Satchip,

This isn't directed at you but a good jumping off post as I agree with you.

Anyway, we all correctly predicted that this would happen to fNWA Asia 757 flying back during the SLI discussions. Now, you fly (for example) MSP > SEA > KIX bounce around Asia for several days, then NRT > PDX > MSP. The days of the gentleman's DH over and back and a 80ish hour trip with 35 to 40 hours of hard fly are gone.

So, why didn't we ever think they wouldn't do that to you guys going to Europe?

Anyway, we've got several of them in the MSP ER package too and they look nasty. In fact they are so nasty that I'll be avoiding PIT and PHL just to be on the safe side.

This is the way fNWA did the 757, we are now utility infielders. If you are senior enough to hold the one leg over to Europe and one leg home, go for it. I'm still bidding the few gentleman DHs over to Asia, assuming they have a good Saipan.

Anyway, I'm not saying it's right. I'm just saying we have now been senergized (is that even a word Buzz?)

It is unwise to speculate on the outcome of this issue.

That said, I feel that the announcement of the sale is just the tip of the iceberg.

Like in the plane, in the crew room, in the hotel, in my room, at the library, at the movies, grocery store, date with my wife, parties, etc. I call it the rock, people try to knock it out of hands for fun, but you can't. Its the rock.

The bacherlotte... yikes... watching the pilot vs his pick. I need to hide under a table.
It is in the ORH to match where it will be in the airplane. If you do an RTO in the jet, you will pull out the QRH, correct?

I just update mine, yep all the fleets I have flown.

The performance numbers that day were aweful, chief pilot even told us to be careful and use the "IM SAFE" chechlist. The next day the words flow will end were removed from the updated Q & A went on to say that they would take 60 days to review, discuss and negotiate with the interested parties. Not sure if they are looking to negotiate? If that's the case i am not sure tsa has any idea what kind of pilots are at compass. Not to many pilots here that will stand for hulus tactics....

A meeting is scheduled late this week or early next week. More info to follow. Still shocked that we at compass were sold to tsa. What next?
Well that is a good sign. I am sure that CPS Management has fears of the flow ending. The single biggest motivator you have would be gone.

Remember that the sale was for the certificate, not the jets. DAL still owns those. I think that is significant. The ASA (Air Service Agreement) that was signed is key. What is in there will tell us what their intentions may be.

Agreed. It also appears they are doing a lot of homework on this section too.
