Until we start to stage out of SAL. What I'm hearing is 757s in/out of SAL to Africa, with the crews laying over in SAL. Kinda like how Narita works.

The latest Sky Magazine route map (now there's an official document for you!) shows the NBO service through DKR. It looks like DKR will be used as a 767 hub while SID will be used for the 757. SID to NBO is actually farther than ATL to SID.

My uncle got a line check on the ER and the line check guy said furloughs after SOC. Take it how you want too, but it sounds like its getting talked about at least or already in the equation.

ACL, any comment on the above?

If it was possible to avoid the schoolhouse three more times on the way out the door it seems like a win / win to do so.

He is probably more correct than he is wrong.

After SOC would only be the bottom few 100 so not to trigger the scope seat trigger.

This has been talked about, but nothing is official. It all depends on the economy!
Do not worry about it, there is nothing you can do!

I had lunch with a flight ops manager just last week(not that I think he knows it either) but he said just the opposite. So there you go. I would think that only the very top knows and quit possible they don't even know just how it may pan out.

Not true. They are briefed quite well. They have a meeting Feb 10th so hit them up for info on the 11th.

They also have the experience to know that when they fat staff the junior jet, furloughs are more possible than hiring. It is what experience gives you.

That is what I just said. It depends on the economy. Nothing is set in stone!

What happened to all that talk about how short we would be when NWA works under our contract?
