I don't know what you were inplying, but former North pilots are not in awe with the "new contract" pay rates and rules.
I was responding to the nice looking Golden who said the above. Upon further review, I see buzz's post and understand. Nobody makes as much now as then. No argument there.

Get used to it. I have been on this forum for quite a while now and even with posting my 09 w-2 which was less than the 08 w-2 for the same number of hours worked, they still think that we got a huge pay raise. Not worth wasting time on here any more on this issue unless you like to beat your head against a brick wall. Suggest wearing a helmet you will need it. On to bigger issues like the current scope delima.

$67 for the expensive side (right now)... Way more $$ in the winter high season.

Yes, the topless part does have its downside. In the mix are the 60 year old "babes" and German dudes wearing thongs. Ewww... What are those guys thinking?

Five star place on sale right now for $67 per person per night.
Spectacular beach and pools and watersports, etc. Superb dining. Top shelf liquor.
Free sailing (wife and I sailed every day)
Lots of Europeans there. The beaches are "top optional". Lots of topless Eurobabes. (and one American )

Only one downside. NOT much "night life" in Punta Cana. If you are looking to disco dance til 4 AM, Jamaica or Mexico are better. They do have a casino though. I played a lot of hold 'em while we were there.
Thanks Check. Sounds nice. I'll look into it.

Not worried about 0 night life. The wife & I are usually out by midnight, & thats without booze!

Don't even want to go there. This is a test for the union in my opinion.

If they get away with this, then Catie bar the door. This is a test gentlemen and the company is watching. I am watching the union!!!!!!! They better have their Ps & Qs together.
I agree completely Keenster.
